Later today, the guys will meet up, once again, over at John's place at Greenhills. Pool Party.

I usually detest pool parties. I'd be the person standing on the sides, well away from the pool, and with my back guarded from any idiot who thinks pushing people in the water is a fun idea.

But, lethargy caused by a not-so-good wake-up and lack of coffee notwithstanding... I'm actually looking forward to the pool party later.

Because Ria will be there.

That's an undeniable thought. I mean, whenever I bring up the idea of the pool party later, its always connected with "Ria's going to be there!" Like some giddy schoolboy eagerly awaiting summer.

And, oh, dammit: I forgot to buy something.

Haha, I was actually awake at 1:30 p.m., but somehow I feel asleep again, but thought it was STILL 1:30, or around 2. And when I got to getting up, I was so shocked to see it was 4 already.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

So.

I've been blogging since coming back from the Academy in mid-2003. If I'm right, it was in 2004 or so, simply because Tin had a blog of her own in Blogger, and I didn't want to be labeled "Anonymous" when I posted. To this date, Phoenix Eyrie, and its successor, Phoenix Eyrie, Reloaded, is my longest-running blog.

In fact, I have FOUR personal blogs, and used to manage at least two more.

So why add one more?

Simple: because I want to be able to comment in Ria's LJ posts. And it seems, like with Blogger all those years back, I can't do so without an account.

So here I am.

Understand that this LJ account is currently simply a means to an end. The niches I can think of for my thoughts with regards to blogs have already been filled in my four personal blogs; in fact, I haven't been able to do much in my original Wordpress blog, phoenixeyrie. So don't expect me to post much here. Aside from allowing me to post as ME in Ria's LJ, I don't know what "niche" this will fulfill.

So don't expect much from this LJ. You want to know what's happening to me personally, you check my Multiply account. You want to hear what one of the top stratgists and analysts for his generation is thinking about current events? Go over to my Mentat blog. You want light stuff? That's what the gaming blog is for.

This, is here only to serve a purpose.
